Winstons Coffee
With locations in both Sai Ying Pun and Kennedy Town, Winstons is one of our favourite spots on the island to grab a coffee. Opening early every day, it’s perfect for a pit stop take away on your morning commute, or head here at the weekends for a relaxed coffee (or something stronger!). Winstons isn’t just a spot for early risers, with a variety of spirits, beers, wines and cocktails also available (including espresso martinis!). There’s even a small food menu of breakfast items and baked goods, and your furry friends are always welcome. The space can also be hired out for private events. Our Marketing Coordinator’s go-tos include the Chai Latte ($50) that comes with free biscotti if you dine-in, the sausage rolls and pies.

% Arabica
Since arriving in Hong Kong in 2017, % Arabica has come a long way with 18 stores across the city. The Kennedy Town location opened in early 2019 and is always busy. The two-storey space offers up panoramic views, but most are heading here for an expertly brewed cup, along with the chance to snap an Insta pic against the iconic wall outside.

Oasis Cafe is an eclectic little spot that’s part cafe, art house and store. Foodies will love its specialty sourdough, hearty pastas, smoothies and velvety coffee. The Cofftea Shop
This cute, no-fuss cafe serves up premium Italian coffee and sandwiches, along with picture-perfect homemade cakes. The queues, which normally form outside, are a testament to just how good the coffee here is! With only one table available inside, it’s best for a takeaway option, just make sure to make the most of the $3 eco-discount when you bring your own cup and grab a slice of carrot cake for the road.

Branches of Maison Eric Kayser can be found in multiple locations across the city and can always be relied on for a decent brew. Offering up delectable French pastries, breads and freshly prepared sandwiches, along with great coffee, it’s perfect for a quick pick-me-up at any time of day. Another classic you’ll find spotted around Hong Kong, Little Cove Espresso sources its coffee and produce sustainably and ethically. Small Good
Dubbed “super cute” by our Managing Director, Small Good’s main attractions are its delicious baked goods, quality coffee and calming atmosphere. Its the perfect spot to pause for a few hours in the day, tuck into a sweet pastry, catch up with friends and sip on a piping hot cup of joe. It doesn’t hurt that its online shop also sells whole cakes so you can basque in the indulgence at home too!

Sip The Moment
Here’s one for those who like to hunt for hidden gems! Sip The Moment is an independently run cafe tucked away on Smithfield. The team here whip up delicious homemade pastries like apple pie and banana bread (perfect to grab-and-go), and its matcha boasts the perfect level of creaminess without being overly sweet. If you’re in the mood for something more indulgent, check out the pistachio lava cake with ice cream or a strawberry cream cake cup!
