Veggie Kingdom 緻素坊 – Authentic vegetarian Chinese food and dim sum in Causeway Bay & Tsim Sha Tsui
This plant-based Cantonese eatery doesn’t wow in terms of ambience or service, but through its homemade dishes. Highlights include the veggie Peking duck, which comes with an extraordinarily unique plant-based duck that even mimics crispy skin, as well as the usual dim sum fixings — har gow, siu mai, cheung fan and more — which are hardly distinguishable from the meaty originals.
Sassy tip: Food is fresh, but often oily and heavy (not a healthy pick!)

TREEHOUSE – Vegetarian salad & wrap stop with vegan options across Hong Kong
A Sassy favourite lunch spot, especially for its Banyan wrap! With a flagship restaurant in H Code and others all across the city, TREEHOUSE is a fantastic grab-and-go plant-based option when you’re out and about on the Island. Word on the street is that Woodlands serves up some of the best dosa in town. Specialising in traditional South Indian food, as well as Jain and Buddhist fare (some dishes come without onion, garlic or root vegetables), Woodlands offers truly authentic flavours.
